Be Water workshop teaches the intuitive painting technique that help us build a personal relationship with our emotions, rejuvenating our “Inner Rivers”, our creative self. The workshop combines mindfulness meditation with the ancient technique of Chinese ink, made of natural material (i.e. bamboo ashes) and used by the sages to express profound inner states. As in Chinese traditions, the art comes from the landscape of the inner space rather than the external world.
While the facilitaor holds a safe space, the workshop invites the audience to surrender to the sensations carried by the water in our body and to express these emotions through the link on the paper (without any thinking process). The process is a learning of unthinking and can be used as a self-inquiry technique to tap into the unconscious mind, our body.
